Hello everyone...it's midnight here and I am just back from the last show of Knight and Day. It was amazing, that feeling! No No! I am not talking about the movie...hell no! But about the feeling you get when you are walking all alone on an absolutely voidal road in the middle of the night.
Well, I didn't have much expectations from this one, just went to watch coz they were giving away at a cheap rate of 70 bucks! Which is way too attractive than the usual 200 bucks charged for english flicks. The only eason I trusted this movie was the presence of Tom Cruise.
Well, the movie starts off with bumping and rebounding at an airport as our protagonist meets his lady! Soon, they are off into an adventure which was way too predictable and over the top! The suspense was very usual! The action sequences were awesome though, that was the only reason to stay glued to the screen. Excellent vfx & action make this movie worth some praise. As for the storyline, well it's very boring & stereotype! It's more or less like a rajnikant flick with the difference that this one is from hollywood & contained in an extremely high budget making it look better and way off the league, but in reality it is nothing but a scumbag of a script and too unrealistic screenplay. Looked much like the Bollywood movie PRINCE, which at least had some good music and 3 stunning babes! Here we had and old & grumpy looking Cameron who was always drugged by Cruise or the other guys. She looked totally boobless in the bikini scene, and what a turn-off was that! Oh! wait, was that supposed to be a turn-on? NO! would have liked to watch RAKHI SAWANT in bikini...huh! While in Prince, they were after his memory contained in a chip while in this one they were after a battery that had enormous power. fOck that! The usual FBI agent running rogue, trusting the wrong guy and shits like that.
The humour was too itchy as it came in bits and pieces, the only place you could laugh was when the movie was over --- "Oh my God! Did I just sit through that....HAHAHA LOL!".
My Verdict
Too predictable...pathetic and nonsense storyline....excellent action sequences....wonderful performance by Tom....Cameron looking bad and very weak element of suspense, romance & humour!
