First things first!
Endhiran is India...well...Asia's biggest film venture ever....the budget spanning over 190 crore rupees ($ 50 million)...the biggies at bollywood couldn't even dream of such a huge project. Revolutionary director, Shankar's previous blockbusters Sivaji, Anniyan (aparichit), Indian (Hindustani). Kaadhalan (Hum se hai muqabla), Jeans. All these movies had one thing in common....they were all sleek..stylish and ahead of time...yet Block busters....
Although after the disaster that Raavan was, I didn't want to put stress on this movie, coz it has Rajnikant in lead, whose now old and weary....
But it's just that.....the trailor....one look at the trailor...changed my mind....
There's huge expectation...suddenly....
The making of the film is also shown in the trailor....and w can see Rajni sir pulling off most of the stunts himself...even dancing to the tunes set forth by AR Rahman Sir! The visual fx are great and never before seen in Indian cinema....the crashing RAJNI's ROBO form into the train...somewhat reminded me of Spiderman....
Overall, after watching this sneek peak trailor...I rate the movie...worth watching once...at least..for the efforts n the moolah and the music....He's coming...Endhiran.....
Endhiran translates into ROBOT....while it is called YANTIRAN in Malayalam..which is a direct link up from YANTRAM in sanskrit.
