Vedic Reflections - Shri VishnusahasranAmam (Stanza 81) Fairly enough, we stress upon three names here- pragrahah, nigrahah & vyagrah. Vedic Reflections - Shri VishnusahasranAmam (Stanza 80) As we enter the eightieth stanza of Sahasranāmam , we talk about Lord’s intelligence in detail for the first time. His intelligence is of positive nature and is never falsified. His intelligence supports the world अमानी मानदो मान्यो लोकस्वामी त्रिलोकधृक | सुमेधा मेधजो धन्यः सत्यमेधा धराधरः || amāni mānado mānyo lokasvāmi triloka-dhŗk sumedhā medhajo dhanyah satyamedhā dharādharah amāni The One Who is the form of pure intelligence mānadah The One Who grants prestige and honour ( mānah ) to His devotees mānyah The One Who is worshipped universally lokasvāmi The One Who is the Lord of all worlds triloka-dhŗk The One Who supports all the three worlds sumedhā The One Whose intelligence ( medha ) is positive ( su ) medhajah The One Who is attained among sacrifices dhanyah The One Who is grateful and devotees become grateful upon attaining Him satyamedhāh The One Whose intelligence is never false, it is true and supports
