ഒരു എന്‍ജിനിയര്‍ പറയുന്ന കഥകള്‍ അമ്മ പറഞ്ഞു തന്ന കഥകളിലൂടെ സ്വപ്നങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടിരുന്ന കാലം. ആ സ്വപ്നങ്ങളില്‍ പക്ഷേ സാഹിത്യത്തിന്‍റെ ചായം കലരുന്നതാകട്ടെ കൗമാരത്തിലും. പാഠപുസ്തകങ്ങളില്‍ മാത്രമായിരുന്നു അന്നാളുകളിലെ ജീവിതം. ഇടയ്ക്കെപ്പോഴോ വായനയുടെ ലോകത്തിലൂടെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി. ആ യാത്രകള്‍ക്കൊടുവില്‍ എഴുത്തുകാരന്‍ എന്ന പേരു കൂടി ഒപ്പം കൂട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു ഈ ചെറുപ്പക്കാരന്‍. ആഗ്രഹം അത്രമേല്‍ ശക്തമാണെങ്കില്‍ സ്വപ്നങ്ങളൊക്കെ കൈക്കുമ്പിളിലേക്ക് എത്തിക്കാമെന്നു തെളിയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു തൃശൂര്‍ ഇരിങ്ങാലക്കുടക്കാരന്‍ കെ.ഹരികുമാര്‍. വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മുന്‍പ് ആഗ്രഹിച്ച പാതകളിലൂടെയാണു ഹരികുമാറിന്‍റെ ഇന്നത്തെ യാത്രകള്‍. എഴുത്തുകാരന്‍, ഹ്രസ്വചിത്ര സംവിധായകന്‍, ഫോട്ടൊഗ്രാഫര്‍, നടന്‍... ഈ വഴികളിലൂടെയാണു ഈ ചെറുപ്പക്കാരന്‍റെ സഞ്ചാരങ്ങള്‍. എഴുത്തും വായനയും നിറഞ്ഞ ഹരികുമാറിന്‍റെ ജീവിതത്തില്‍ സിനിമ എന്ന സ്വപ്നലോകം കൂടിയുണ്ട്. സ്വന്തമായി കഥയെഴുതി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ചിത്രം. ആ ലോകത്തിലേക്കുള്ള യാത്രയിലാണ്. തിരക്കഥയെഴുത്തിലാണു ഈ എന്‍ജിനിയര്‍.  എഴുത്തു മാത്രമല്ല ക്യാമറയും അഭിനയവുമൊക്കെ കൂടെയുണ്ട് ഈ ബിടെക്കുക്കാരന്‍റെ ജീ

Finally we wrap up the shooting of My Name is Iyer in South City-2, Gurgaon! A long array of comical mishaps ended with a more satisfactory shoot of the movie. The trailer will be out soon on youtube. Keep watching! This one has the two lead actors from the movie.

Finally we start the shooting of my first short film- MY NAME IS IYER. Don't go with the title, coz it's not a spoof on My name is Khan nor is it a comedy of any sorts. Although our shooting was full of comedy and errors. After semi-successfully ending shoot at day 1 (also got interrogated by the Delhi Metro Policemen for suspicious behavior =P), I finally give you all, the first look into the Film.
