I have been expecting a lot from this movie and it's obvious from the way I was trying to promote this movie on my blog. It's not just me, It's the entire Southern Part of India, that's been eagerly waiting for the release of this epic. What makes it more special is that, it's going to be my first Rajni padam (film). Although, I saw Baasha at the time of it's release, but then I was a little kid and didn't understand anything. Now, decades later, Rajni Sir is back with Shankar's Endhiran. Endhiran starts off with cute as well as dirty humor which can make the young and old chuckle indifferently. The Robot 'CHITTI' is shown as an innocent learner in the first few scenes and his innocence perfectly gels with Santhanam & Karunas apt one liners. There's special cameo by Malayalam actors late Cochin Hanifa & Kalabhavan Mani and an entire scene with the mosquitoes of Chennai (:P)....and mind it! It's really funny. Rajni as Dr.Vasigh

The Excitement is colossal and so is the expectation from this magnum opus by Shankar. Endhiran has the greatest names in Indian Cinema & World Cinema alike amalgamated together. These names include- Shankar - Director of Sivaji, Kadalan, Anniyan, Indian (Hindustani)---In short, directors of Blockbusters Thalaiva Rajnikant - The highest paid actor in Asia! Nothing more to say about him! He is a demigod in himself! AR RAHMAN - The double oscar winner scoring some of his best works...The songs are awesome....all of them! Aishwarya Rai - The eternal beauty of India..... SUN PICTURES - The biggest production house of Asia (since it has whooped out 190 crore rupees for this Film) Stan Winston Studios - Takes care of the animatronics in the film... Industrial Lights and Magic - take care of the special effects (40 crore spent on sfx) Yuen Woo Ping - The best from Hong Kong and Chinese films! Ahem...This is the hindi version of the song KAADHAL ANUKAL (Love Microbes) from the Mega Rajni movie- ENDHIRAN (ROBOT in Hindi). As you can already see...I am high...and no m not on drugs (lol..except for d painkillers I am taking for my injured limb :P )...it's the intoxicating nature of this song...that's given me this high! Listen to it....I even loved the video...Rajni looking out of his shoes! The 60 something demi-God looks a mere 30 in this one.....love the locales of the song.... AMAZING! First I had to go through each word at least 10 times before I could write it down...which is a mammoth task especially when you don't feel like pausing when it's playing! Such is the song's effect on you.... And then..the translation!!! OMG!!! What is this song!!! Meaningless!.... Is he getting better or is his head hitting the moon??? Coz this music is out of this world. Amazing! Full on Energy! Praises Rajni's robo avatar...and the lyrics are quite amazing as it showcases the might of the Robot as well as it's craving for desires of love and lust. It's THE SONG of ROBOT! First things first! Endhiran is India...well...Asia's biggest film venture ever....the budget spanning over 190 crore rupees ($ 50 million)...the biggies at bollywood couldn't even dream of such a huge project. Revolutionary director, Shankar's previous blockbusters Sivaji, Anniyan (aparichit), Indian (Hindustani). Kaadhalan (Hum se hai muqabla), Jeans. All these movies had one thing in common....they were all sleek..stylish and ahead of time...yet Block busters.... Although after the disaster that Raavan was, I didn't want to put stress on this movie, coz it has Rajnikant in lead, whose now old and weary.... But it's just that.....the trailor....one look at the trailor...changed my mind.... There's huge expectation...suddenly.... The making of the film is also shown in the trailor....and w can see Rajni sir pulling off most of the stunts himself...even dancing to the tunes set forth by AR Rahman Sir!
