Pathinaru (Sixteen) - Tamil Music Review [MUST BUY!!!]

The best one from the album perhaps? YSR ends the year on a high note! Rahman gave us VTV to begin the year with and now YSR ends it with a slashback hi-struck super duper album in Pathinaru (16) The track boasts of just 4 main tracks and one theme track which is an instrumental of sorts. Ada da En Meethu  Hariharan, Bella Shinde Thr first track from the album is a duet by Hariharan & Bella Shinde. The song has a short lived effect but nevertheless, the effect is short enough to keep it humming until it's over and for a few more seconds... An above average track..I will give it - 8.8/10 Yaar Solli Kadhal  Yuvan Shankar Raja The masterpiece from the master craftsman! The husky voice of Yuvan comes into play once again in this roll-rollicking track that will haunt you throughout the new year! My rating - 9.7/ 10 Vaanam Namadhe Shankar Mahadevan This song is quite the work of a lot of pearls! Nice one indeed 9/10   Kaattu Chedikku  Karthik Raja I wo

That was for the film, let's talk about it's music. As expected Rahman was supposed to deliver something amazing....and does he???? read on...... 1. PUTHIYA MANITHAA (The new man) - This track has been sung by SP Balasubramniyam and Rahman himself. While there is Khatija Rahman rendering her part in some parts of the song giving it a soulful touch. It's a techno song....making use of dance beats and amazing lyrics by Vairamuthu....the song pronounces the creation of Robot and declarations of his power and might and also shows his love for his nativity! Striker (2010/Hindi) Music Review

Story set in the mid-80s! Well that's what wikipedia ensures us. This would be Tollywood heartthrob Siddhart Narayan's second Bollywood film (after Rang De Basanti) and his first as the sole hero! For those of you who don't know, Tollywood is the collective name that defines the Telugu Film Industry . The film also marks Southie Beauty Padmapriya's entry into the Bollywood dome. Though not the perfect entry, yet the film looks promising and fresh off the takes used by AAMIR  (2008). Let's now talk about the music of the film. Ummm.....Lets go song by song.....one by one..... Cham Cham - The opening track of the album is rendered by Sonu Nigam to the tunes of Shailendra Bhavre. The music is kind of repitive, ever since Sufi became a household magma, hats off to efforts by our Bollywood Music directors! The lyrics are pretty much straight forward and gullible. You will love it, if you like soft romantic ballads. Kinda haunting, and coz I loved it, I give it 9 .5
