Rabbi Shergil, one of the most underrated Indian singer who had his chances but could only gather a distinctive fan base, not the mass as others from his land (My fingers point at overrated ones like Daler Mehndi, Mika and the likes who can only sing about women & alcohol). The tamil version is one of my all time favorites... but Unlike the tamil version that's titled MANNIPAAYA that means "Forgive me"... the Hindi version was called "Sharminda Hoon" which translates to "I'm embarassed" and I was totally struck with awful feelings... I mean... Why would Rahman settle for such a displeasing title conveying a totally different feel from the original version...
