Raavanan (Movie Review)

Forget Raavan...I know my review wasn't a total positive one.....but for this one...I AM GONNA GIVE A THUMB'S UP!.....rather TWO thumbs' up!!!! The movie Raavan wasn't made for Hindi...it was an out and out Tamil film.....the dialogs...the performance and the songs.....was totally perfect in the Tamil one... Unlike in the hindi version where abhishek Bachchan sucked as BEERA & so did Vikram's HINDI fail to sync with his expression......in Tamil......VIKRAM rocks as VEERA and PRITHVIRAJ never looked better....wow! awesome performance by everyone....even Karthik Muthuraman, prabhu & Priyamani played his role smartly.... The music sounded very much perfect & so were the dialogues able to catch the imagery of d viewer.... The Hindi version fails coz of 3 reasons - Abhishek's over expressive under-acting Vikram's poor Hindi dialog delivery Dialogues that aren't powerful enough The Tamil version clicks coz of - Awesome dialogues Prithvi

Raavan (Movie Review)

pollcode.com free polls How is Raavan Awesome Worst movie Average    There was lot of expectations from Raavan. After a long tiring morning, I prayed that the matinee would finally pay off the sweat that I egested on this hot summer's day. But sadly, The beginning was very poorly narrated and improperly woven. It did break my heart...but I had enough faith on Mani Ratnam's vision. And you know what, as the story progressed, things took off pretty awesomely, especially after the interval. It's a strange thing, but normally our bollywood and other Indian movies have an awesome first half but the second half is usually long and boring. Here, it's a different scenario. The first 15 minutes was pathetic....soon it was SO-SO.....and towards the interval the story had started narrating itself properly. But after the interval, every frame, every scene was a speckle of Brilliance. The story revolves around Beera played by Abhishek who is supported by his two brothers Mangal

Raavan - The Story

The excitement around Raavan stimulates as the official website reveals a synopsis of the movie. According to the site :- Raavan is not a story, it is a world. Beera Munda - Undisputed, Unlawful, Untamed Dev Pratap Sharma - The Punisher; the Law, the Righteous Ragini - Conscience, Beauty; Music Dev falls in with Ragini, a spunky classical dancer who is as unconventional as him. They get married and he takes up his new post in Lal Maati, a small town in northern India. A town where the world of law is not the police but Beera, a tribal who has, over the years, shifted the power equation of the place from the ruling to the have-nots of the area. Dev knows that the key to bringing order to any place is not to vanquish the big fish; in this case - Beera. In one stroke Dev manage to rip open Beera's world, and set in motion a change of event which will claim lives, changes fortune. Beera, injured but enraged hits back starting a battle that draws Dev, Beera and Ragini

Raavanan (Tamil Teaser)

You saw the Hindi version....now sit back...n get ready for the tamil version of Raavan....... RAAVANAN......Vikram dons the role of Veera.......the man with 10 minds.....a hundred names.................... The best part of the teaser is the ending...where Vikram exclaims...." PATHU THALAI.......RAAVANAN"......(10 heads....raavan!) somehow...I feel that Vikram's VEERA would be much more energetic than Abhishek's BEERA........
