Five days and three hours since coming back to my village in kerala, one thing that I have realized is an obvious and basic fact of my nature: Grass is always greener on the other bank. Lol! Talking about banks, i have been going in and out of banks since yesterday owing to account transfers and fund depositions. Even right now, as I am typing, I am breathing the air of another bank in Thrissur. Getting here wasn't a struggle. There is bus service to every nook and corner of the state. Auto rickshaw fares are quite affordable too. But whats not affordable is the way in which people here ply for Rules. There is a protocol for everything and people cry over smallest of defaults. Back in Gurgaon and Delhi, i used to feel that people were so negligent when it came to rules. The fact bothered me so much (especially in the middle of a traffic jam) but now I feel so opposed ironically. So, finally I am done with my examinations for this semester.
