The humming bareness of Mohit Chauhan's voice has been used splendidly by the Master in this track, rather in each of the dozen tracks rendered by Mohit Chauhan for this Movie's soundtrack. The way the track begins in a confused oscillation depicting the different stages in his lives where Jordan (Ranbir's character in the movie) bumbles over his guitar..striking few chords in and out of his fingertips, to get things right... Socha na tha created that urge and Jab we met only elevated it. Maybe, it’s the soul-touching music along with the soul-rendered lyrics that give rise to such an urge. Or maybe it’s the impression his movies create in the first trailer itself! But as long as the film justifies the expectations, you don’t want to blame anyone. However, when the film doesn’t live upto that hype, the level of liquid descends in your heart. Love Aaj Kal, despite my craze for the movie’s lead pair & the song DOORIYAN, I ended up spitting at the movie after watching it once. The reason??? Priyadarsan returns to the action genre after almost a decade and half.We last saw him making Gardish which starred Jackie Shroff. The funny thing is that despite making an action flick, the Priyan film doesn't star Akshay Kumar which is quite surprising for he had featured in almost all the recent slapstick idiotic comedies of Priyadarsan and when finally he has made this Action film....LO! There's no Akshay Kumar...instead there is his second favourite Akshaye Khanna. Ajay Devgun has sizzled once again...the female lead played by Bipasha..Reema and the producer's daughter- Ami

De Dana Dan carried pretty under average to pathetic tracks too. This one has just two notable tracks- One is SAJDA and the other is BULLSHIT! Sajde is a soft one, not as good as Pee Loon or I am in Love from Pritam's other soundtrack of the season - ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI..... The Video is pretty soothing, with most of the song being filmed at some temple in Tamil Nadu (a wild guess...but could be anywhere in Southern India except Kerala, since the architecture of the temple shows).
