First things first! Endhiran is India...well...Asia's biggest film venture ever....the budget spanning over 190 crore rupees ($ 50 million)...the biggies at bollywood couldn't even dream of such a huge project. Revolutionary director, Shankar's previous blockbusters Sivaji, Anniyan (aparichit), Indian (Hindustani). Kaadhalan (Hum se hai muqabla), Jeans. All these movies had one thing in common....they were all sleek..stylish and ahead of time...yet Block busters.... Although after the disaster that Raavan was, I didn't want to put stress on this movie, coz it has Rajnikant in lead, whose now old and weary.... But it's just that.....the trailor....one look at the trailor...changed my mind.... There's huge expectation...suddenly.... The making of the film is also shown in the trailor....and w can see Rajni sir pulling off most of the stunts himself...even dancing to the tunes set forth by AR Rahman Sir! The visual fx are great and never before seen in Indian

You saw the Hindi version....now sit back...n get ready for the tamil version of Raavan....... RAAVANAN......Vikram dons the role of Veera.......the man with 10 minds.....a hundred names.................... The best part of the teaser is the ending...where Vikram exclaims...." PATHU THALAI.......RAAVANAN"......(10 heads....raavan!) somehow...I feel that Vikram's VEERA would be much more energetic than Abhishek's BEERA........

Hmmm....the agony of sitting alone in an almost empty audi at PVR, Gurgaon...on a hot Thursday noon wasn't felt today...maybe coz of the movie's edge of the seat narration....or maybe coz....there...were..afterall...a few people watching the movie... other than the Hindi speaking Nepali ushers ... To be frank...I was very much excited about the movie...coz of its music and Karthi's presence... Music plays a huge role in luring the viewer to the theatre...and this movie is a classic example...Yuvan Shankar Raja's scores played a pivotal part in dragging me to the cinema hall (I had to cut my college today...)...as well as plying me to the seats even between passing moments of boredom and draggery! On a friday afternoon....I made through the bulging traffic of Jaipur Highway & MG Road.....to reach PVR MGF on time for the 3:25 show.....of the movie...that I wished to see in Kerala 2 weeks ago for just 30 bucks...in some air conditioned movie hall.....unfortunately...the movie released today.....4 days after I made my return.....from God's own country....hmmm....lets talk about this movie now....which one..u ask???....its VINNAITHAANDI VARUVAAYA .....which translates to..... I'll cross the skies for You.... The movie comes from Gautham Menon....the man who made....Minnale....Vaaranam Aayiram....Kaakha Kaakha..... REHNA HAI TERE DIL MEIN .......and like his previous flick.....this time...too....the Hero...is a young jobless mechanical engineer.....who is more creative than technical......and Our dear... SILAMBARASAN .....wants to become a FILMMAKER.....but soon.....he falls for this fairly simple yet complicated Catholic malayalee girl....Jessie (played by Trisha)....

This Diwali is gonna glow hotter than ever before with 2 big budget masala flicks and one Sweet Romantic movie lined up for release on the 16th! The biggest bet will be BLUE starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta, Zayed Khan while Akki's lucky doll Katrina Kaif makes a cameo. The tracks by AR Rehman are already chartbusters.
