I am big fan of Farhan Akhtar...and it doesn't matter wht he's doing...DIRECTING......PRODUCING.....ANCHORING A TV SHOW....or ACTING...I just love him....and his stupid jokes in his PHATI AWAAZ............ So....don't mind....if I end up praising this movie...coz thats wt I'm gonna do..anyway.... Moving on to this psycho-thriller....well..its hard to outcast Karthik Calling Karthik in such a category.....coz...its really not that Psycho types....its a very sweet...romantic....gentle thriller.....which has a good story....that would keep you bound to your seats throughout the run-time of the movie. Even when you go for a lil snack break during the intermission..u'd be probably thinking...."who has called him........again?" A friend of mine told me...that the movie is ok till the climax.....while the climax is one big CHOO-panti....Thank God...I didn't fall for his EXPERT verdict...huh....the stupid guy...wud hv striped me off one good movie.... On a friday afternoon....I made through the bulging traffic of Jaipur Highway & MG Road.....to reach PVR MGF on time for the 3:25 show.....of the movie...that I wished to see in Kerala 2 weeks ago for just 30 bucks...in some air conditioned movie hall.....unfortunately...the movie released today.....4 days after I made my return.....from God's own country....hmmm....lets talk about this movie now....which one..u ask???....its VINNAITHAANDI VARUVAAYA .....which translates to..... पा (Paa) Starring - Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Paresh Rawal Direction - R.Balki Music - Illayaraja Reflections Hmm...now what do we expect from a man who was the brain behind "DAAG ACHCHE HAIN" , "JAAGO RE" and "WALK WHEN YOU TALK"? No, No! These aren't movies or tele-serials, these are the advertisement campaigns you have been witnessing on th mass media for quite some time...(Surf Excel, Tata Tea and Idea respectively). Yea! Its the same man, R.Balki or R.Balakrishnan who has created Paa. His second venture after Cheeni Kam. Well, I expected a no-nonsense movie from him and the impression about which he didn't spoil either. Paa is a very toucing movie, with correct and timely dose of healthy humour and some inspiring politics. This Diwali is gonna glow hotter than ever before with 2 big budget masala flicks and one Sweet Romantic movie lined up for release on the 16th! The biggest bet will be BLUE starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta, Zayed Khan while Akki's lucky doll Katrina Kaif makes a cameo. The tracks by AR Rehman are already chartbusters. The film is an action thriller, all we wait are how much of a thrill can it pull? The second big release will be Rohit Shetty's All The Best starring Ajay Devgun, Sanjay Dutt (again!), Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu and Mugdha Godse (Of Fashion fame). Its an out and out comedy, just like the previous Rohit-Ajay movies (viz. Golmaal, Sunday and Golmaal Returns). It enjoys an advantage over Blue that it is a family entertainer and will most likely pass with a 'U' certificate while Blue will get an A  for its bikini babes atleast... :P.... When I name these, the first thing that strikes your mind is Hindustan Zindabad!, followed by quality, engrossing and inspiring characters, well-knit screenplay, great acting, incredible background music and well ofcourse Ashutosh Gowarikar and his awards! Well, this was what I expected while stepping into the audi! First day, First show! Coincidentally, this is the Harman Baweja-Priyanka starrer movie that I am watching - First Day First Show. The Last one being LOVE SORRY 2050,,,,oops,,,,Love Story 2050,,,back on a breezy Summer day in Kochi. Coming back to the movie, the movie opens up pretty stylishly, with the track Whats Your Rashee playing, Priyanka doing the honours presenting herself in 12 diffrerent avatars,(all sultry, in an almost catwoman like skin-suit). First it was movie reviews and now cricket snippets. NO guys , I have not run out of my mind. Its just that I extended the spectrum of Reflections beyond just music.
