Reflections
It is perhaps one of my favourite Malayalam songs.....indeed....actually...the one who understands Malayalam....will feel that he is blessed....for he can understand the meaning of this wonderful song.......the lyrics penned down by Gireesh Puthenchery are absolutely BLISS!....out of the world!....how does one come up with such splendid writing? I wished every person in this Goddamn world knew malayalam....so that he could feel the beauty of this nectar of a song................
As I listen to the elysian voice of veteran singer. P Jayachandran....something transfers me to a different world.....forget Mohit Chauhan...forget Yuvan...or Rahman.....this song....this voice...this lyrical ballad...recieves much more anticipation and applause than anything or anyone else.....A blissful track...rendered by Chitra and Jayachandran Sir....

Lyrics (Translation)
Ariyaathe ariyaathe ee
Pavizha vaarthinkalariyaathe
Alayaan vaa aliyaan vaa ee
Pranaya thalpathilamaraan vaa
Ithoramara gandarva yaamam
Ithoranagha sangeetha sallaapam

My Love, lets elope through the night
under the Coral Crescent that stands unknowingly
Lets elope...Lets melt into each other....
Let's sink in this dune of sand and make love......
In this undying demonic darkest hour of the night...
In this  endless musical apocalypse...lets runaway...
Ala njoriyumashaada theeram
Athilamruthu peyyumee ezhaam yaamam
Ariyaathe ariyaathe ee
Pavizha vaarthinkalariyaathe
Alayaan vaa aliyaan vaa ee
Pranaya thalpathilamaraan vaa
The waves rise as they drape around the shore...

As Nectors of Immortality rains from this catastrophe...

My Love, lets elope through the night
under the Coral Crescent that stands unknowingly
Lets elope...Lets melt into each other....
Let's sink in this dune of sand and make love......

Neela shylangal nertha
Manjaale ninne moodunnovo
Raja hamsangal ninte
Paattinte vennayunnunnuvo
These Blue mountains shower white flakes of snow...
As these cover your bronze like body...
While you sing this song for me, my love!
These royal swans feed on thy butter like voice....

Pakuthi pookkunna paarijaathangal
Praavu pol nenjilamarunnu
These half-bloomed Paarijaath (a white holy flower)
press into my Heart like doves of love...
Kuruki nilkkunna ninte youvvanam
Rudhra veenayaay paadunnu
The strong essence of your youth
sings like the Veena of Shiva!

Nee dheva shilpamaay unarunnu
Ithoramara gandarva yaamam Ithoranagha sangeetha sallaapam
You awoke like a Deity!
In this undying demonic darkest hour of the night...
In this  endless musical apocalypse...lets runaway...
Ala njoriyumashaada theeram
Athilamruthu peyyumee ezhaam yaamam (ariyathe)The waves rise as they drape around the shore...
As Nectors of Immortality rains from this catastrophe...

Vaarmridhangaadhi vaadhya
Vrindangal vaaniluyarunnuvo
Swarna kasthoori kanaka
Kalabhangal kaatiluthirunnuvo
As you feast upon this mridanga (a percussion instrument)
The sky is lit up with an orchestra of instruments
The Golden Deer and the
Golden dust are dispersed in the air

Ariya maanpedamaan pole
Neeyente arikil vannu nilkkumbol
Mazhayilaadunna dhevathaarangal
Manthra melaappu meyumbol
Like a beautiful little deer
You come and stand next to me
Like A divine star dancing in the rain
dancing to the chants that I enchant...
Nee vanavalaakayaay paadunnu
Ithoramara gandarva yaamam
Ithoranagha sangeetha sallaapam
You sing as the nature itself
In this undying demonic darkest hour of the night...
In this  endless musical apocalypse...lets runaway...

Ala njoriyumashaada theeram
Athilamruthu peyyumee ezhaam yaamam (ariyathe)
The waves rise as they drape around the shore...
As Nectors of Immortality rains from this catastrophe...

Krishna Nee Begane Baaro - Kannada Lyrics & Translation

Unveiling the Depths of "Krishna Nee Begane Baaro" Krishna Nee Begane Baaro  (Oh Krishna, Please Come) transcends the realm of a simple  Kannada devotional song . Composed by the revered saint-poet  Vyasatirtha , it offers a powerful expression of devotion and yearning for the divine presence of Lord Krishna. A Melody Steeped in Tradition: The essence of  Krishna Nee Begane Baaro  lies in its music. The melody flows serenely in  Raga Yamunakalyani , its notes reminiscent of the gentle murmur of the Yamuna River. The rhythmic pattern,  Chapu , adds a structured elegance, providing the perfect foundation for the heartfelt lyrics. Vyasatirtha, a prominent figure in the  Dvaita school of Madhvacharya philosophy , infused the song with his profound understanding of the divine. A Source of Solace: Krishna Nee Begane Baaro  resonates far beyond its cultural significance. The song's calming melody offers a sense of peace and comfort during challengin...

Mere Bina (Lyrics, English Translation)

मेरे बिना (Mere Bina) CROOK OST Music - Pritam Singer - Nikhil D'Souza Lyrics - Kumaar MY RATING - 9/10 Reflections A very romantic western number by new comer Nikhil D'Souza. Pritam has crooned Pop hits by Darius and Enrqiue alike to create a magical ballad that hooks you to its smoothness the moment the song starts. Nikhil sounds like Atif at times, but nevertheless is a promsing find!   Lyrics (English Translation) Mere Bina Rehne laga hun Teri hawaon me Behne laga hun I have started living without you... I have started floating in the breeze that you are jaane main kaise tera hua hu mujhe to lagta hai main shayad tere dil ki dua hu Haan Tujhko jo paaya ahan To jeena aaya Ab ye lamha theher jaye tham jaye bas jaye hum Dono ke darmiyaaaaan I don't know how I have become yours I think I am the boon from your heart Yea! Now that I found you...I have learnt to live Now this moment may stop here at this very moment when the two of us are together...
