A very soulful track that can haunt you for days and nights....Karthik's silky voice leaves u nowhere...but surrendered! U will go weak in the knee.....beautifully rendered along with Mohammad Irfan....well...the begining of the song has been chosen as the theme for Raavan's official website....so that makes it even more enthralling....gives an idea of a serious track themed around grief.....the track has a very south indian feeling to it....and the Metal breakthroughs really make this song sound Unorthodox and full of SOUL......................I saw the trailor of the track yesterday on television...WOW!....even more enthralling....I mean....It had the feeling of a Hollywood blockbuster to it....kinda INDI-GOTHIC!.....a deadly Abhishek eloping a wet Aishwarya through the Athirapally waterfalls......WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great camera work...............

The transalation done by you is really good. However, I am confused at a word "Sehra". You have mentioned it as desire whereas I feel that "Sehra" here refers to desert.
I am not sure tough you might want to reconfirm it....
Sehra actually means the VEIL worn by woman....like the dupatta or any piece of cloth that covers from d head portion and hides the face.....
Here, in this song....it reflects the desire hidden inside Beera's mind.....
as to the meaning of the word "sehra" what the 'anonymous' said is correct, it means 'desert'.
well, the word of arabic origin, 'sehra' has both meanings, viz. 'desert' and 'veil of flowers', depending on the pronunciation.
if the hard 'h' in the word (since arabic persian and urdu have two 'h', one soft and another hard), is pronounced then 'sehra' means desert. if it is silent then 'sehra' means veil of flowers.
in this song (behene de) it is pronounced to have the meaning 'desert'.
this word is one of the favourites of gulzar saab. see how he has used it in the song 'dil se re':
"woh paththe do bechaare phir sehraaon se guzre..." (those two pathetic leaves went crossing the desert)
there is a famous ghazal written by mohsin naqvi and popularised by singer ghulam ali, 'yeh dil yeh paagal dil mera', in which a couplet has its second line as this: "sehera ki bheegi ret par maine likhaa aawaargi" (in the wet sands of the desert i wrote 'aawaargi')
