Film - Adhwaitham
Lyrics - Kaithapram
Music - M.G Radhakrishnan
Singer - M.G Sreekumar,K.S ChithraMY RATING - 9.9/10
Reflections
Nostalgic is what I get to to feel, while listening to this track, I remember I was a little kid, the age of 3 or 4 when 9 year old girls from next door would sing this to me to make me feel happy. The Love ballad that touches the heart as it caresses the fluffy peacock feather of Shri Krishna unto the soul of the listener....Towards the end...you want to sing with the song...and in the end...your heart would crave "ONCE MORE"
MG Sreekumar & KS Chitra render their honeytone to the lyrics of Kaithapram & the tune set by Late Shri MG Radhakrishnan.
LOVE IT!
Lyrics
Ambalapuzhe unnikannanodu nee
Enthu paribhavam melleyothi vannuvo
Kalvilakkukal paathi minni nilkkave
Enthu nalkuvaan enne kaathu ninnu nee
Thriprasaadhavum mouna chumbanangalum
Pankuvakkuvaan odi vannathaanu njaan
Raaga chandanam ninte netiyil thodaan
Gopa kanyayay odi vannathaanu njaan
Ambala......
What complaint have you come to submit at this temple to Me...The Ambalapuzha Krishna....
The stone lamps are flaring dimly....to present what have you waited so long....
Thriprasadam & a few silent kisses...is what I have come to share....
To adorn the sandal paste of music on Your forehead...have I come as a Gopika...(cowherdess)
What complaint have you come to submit at this temple to Me...The Ambalapuzha Krishna....
aa.aa..aa..aa.aa
Agnisaakhiyaay ila thaali chaarthiyen
Aadhyaanuraagam dhanyamaakum
Manthrakodiyil njaan moodi nilkkave
Aadhyaabhilaasham saphalamaakum
Naalaalariye kai pidikkum
Thiru naadaka shaalayil chernnu nilkkum (naalaal)
Yamuna nadhiyaay kuliralayilakum ninavil
Ambala.....
The Holy Fire as witness....& the garland of leaves have I adorned...have gratified the sign of first love....
As I stand immersed in the drappery of enchantment.....The prime wishes are fulfilled....
Stealthily she holds My hand....and stands leaning on the theatre wall...
In the Yamuna's waves shall the heart dance....
What complaint have you come to submit at this temple to Me...The Ambalapuzha Krishna....
Eeranode ennum kai vanangumen
Nirmaallya punyam pakarnnu tharaam
Ere janmamay njaan nolmpu nolkkumen
Kaivallyamellaam kaazhcha vakkaam
Velee pennaay nee varumbol
Nallola kudayil njaan koottu nilkaam(velee)
Thulasee dhalamaay thirumalaradikalil veenen
Ambala......
Whilst standing in wet pure cotton....The holiness of heaven shall be transferred...
For a long time have I fasted upon you....It's all for you to witness....
When you'll arrive as the bride....
I'll accompany you under a thatched umbrella(The traditional umbrella of Kerala)....
As we fall into each other like clusters of Thulasi into malar.....
