Vedic Reflections - Shri VishnusahasranAmam (Stanza 59)
The Lord is the symbol of firmness, strength and kindness. He stands tall like a tree, He is untouched by winds like a tree, He is firm like a tree, He is giving prāņa to all beings just like a tree gives oxygen to living beings, He gives shelter to His devotees like a tree giving shelter to squirrels and birds. He is that ultimate source of energy Who has the power to attract everything towards itself. The scientific explanation is interesting to note. Kindly refer to further notes

sańkarshaņah
The One Who attracts or lures all beings towards Himself. Scientific interpretation would be such an energy source that attracts everything towards itself with its attractive force/energy. Such a source of energy has the power to create the universe. Several theories was created by the action of repulsive forces within a concentrated source of energy. Vedas suggest that at the time of destruction everything is consumed by Him therefore it is possible that this very energy that has created out of repulsive forces is able to destroy by forces of attraction
