Vedic Reflections - Shri VishnusahasranAmam (Stanza 90)

The beauty of the irony used in the names aņurbŗhat captures my mind just like the very feeling of His Highness Lord Vishņu. Once He is called as the minute atom (aņuh) while in the very next name He becomes the ever expanding gigantic form of the universe (bŗhat). Similarly in the next two names also the reader will find this ironic situation. Such is the might of Our dear Lord of Vaikuntha, All hail GOVINDA GOVINDA!

Lord Vishnu is the atom (anuh) as well as the ever expanding universe (brihat)

अणुरबृहत् कृशः स्थूलो गुणभ्रीनिर्गुणो महान |
अध्रितः स्वध्रितः स्वास्यः प्रान्ग्वंशो वंशवर्धनः ||

aņurbŗhat krśah sthūlo gunabhŗnirguņo mahān
adhŗtah svadhŗtah svāsyah prāngvamśo vamśavardhanah

aņuh
The One Who is the smallest unit of everything, that is, atom

bŗhat
The One Who is gigantic and ever growing

krśah
The One Who can become so tiny that He can enter a stone

sthūlah
The One Who is stout and can accommodate millions of universes within Him

gunabhŗt
The One Who is the bearer of the three guņas, that is, sattva (goodness/divine), rajas (passion/luxurious) and tamas (ignorance/downtrodden)

nirguņah
The One Who is quality-less, that means He is so much above all these things that He cannot be defined by any quality

mahān
The One Who is the greatest

adhŗtah
The One Who supports everything including the earth

svadhŗtah
The One Who is supported by His own glorious self

svāsyah
The One Whose face is as beautiful as the moon and the lotus flower

prāngvamśah
The One Whose dynasty has been existing since everything began

vamśavardhanah
The One Whose dynasty, glory and form are ever expanding

Krishna Nee Begane Baaro - Kannada Lyrics & Translation

Unveiling the Depths of "Krishna Nee Begane Baaro" Krishna Nee Begane Baaro  (Oh Krishna, Please Come) transcends the realm of a simple  Kannada devotional song . Composed by the revered saint-poet  Vyasatirtha , it offers a powerful expression of devotion and yearning for the divine presence of Lord Krishna. A Melody Steeped in Tradition: The essence of  Krishna Nee Begane Baaro  lies in its music. The melody flows serenely in  Raga Yamunakalyani , its notes reminiscent of the gentle murmur of the Yamuna River. The rhythmic pattern,  Chapu , adds a structured elegance, providing the perfect foundation for the heartfelt lyrics. Vyasatirtha, a prominent figure in the  Dvaita school of Madhvacharya philosophy , infused the song with his profound understanding of the divine. A Source of Solace: Krishna Nee Begane Baaro  resonates far beyond its cultural significance. The song's calming melody offers a sense of peace and comfort during challengin...

Mere Bina (Lyrics, English Translation)

मेरे बिना (Mere Bina) CROOK OST Music - Pritam Singer - Nikhil D'Souza Lyrics - Kumaar MY RATING - 9/10 Reflections A very romantic western number by new comer Nikhil D'Souza. Pritam has crooned Pop hits by Darius and Enrqiue alike to create a magical ballad that hooks you to its smoothness the moment the song starts. Nikhil sounds like Atif at times, but nevertheless is a promsing find!   Lyrics (English Translation) Mere Bina Rehne laga hun Teri hawaon me Behne laga hun I have started living without you... I have started floating in the breeze that you are jaane main kaise tera hua hu mujhe to lagta hai main shayad tere dil ki dua hu Haan Tujhko jo paaya ahan To jeena aaya Ab ye lamha theher jaye tham jaye bas jaye hum Dono ke darmiyaaaaan I don't know how I have become yours I think I am the boon from your heart Yea! Now that I found you...I have learnt to live Now this moment may stop here at this very moment when the two of us are together...
