MAGIC!
That is exactly what has happened here... Rabbi Shergil, one of the most underrated Indian singer who had his chances but could only gather a distinctive fan base, not the mass as others from his land (My fingers point at overrated ones like Daler Mehndi, Mika and the likes who can only sing about women & alcohol). Rabbi came into the Indian scene with his Golden 'Bulla ki jaana' back in mid 2000s. However, he disappeared somewhere towards the end of the decade and now suddenly he flashes with a boom in an AR RAHMAN-GULZAR musical that happens to be a YASH CHOPRA - SRK Romance! How much more could anyone ask for? Well to talk about the track, its a pacy one with Punjabi Sufiana lyrics penned by Gulzar Saahab. The song picks up and never really ceases to stop or pause. If you play it repeatedly you will keep hearing it as one single track playing endlessly, won't break even once however everytime growing in you.
However at times, during the chorus you feel like you are revisiting the haunting tunes of YUVRAAJ (2009)
The protagonist SRK is wandering around in this soundtrack's video and CHALLA or Ring has been personified to be given a wandering Lover's shade and narrates its journeys searching for it's love...
