Why the fuss?

Howdy everyone! Its been long since I made any appearance on the blog, thats because I was quite unsure about my blog's readership. Anyway, I have decided to continue writing...err...blogging, coz it provides platform to ease out my views on certain stuff! To begin with, lets just not concentrate on the huge FUSS created over IPL's so-called "invite first and show the door policy" towards the Pakistani cricketers and move over real issues like the earthquake in Haiti and militants getting PARAGLIDING LESSONS . Yes, these should be the center of our concern right now and not some stupid row over cricketers not being sold at the auction center! Haiti, who had even heard of that before that massive earthquake struck this little Caribbean nation? Even though my memories take me back to my Third-Grade General Knowledge class, where I was once asked the capital of haiti, and I hadn't known by then (which by the way, I still don't know..sadly!). When did that ear

And It cries for some Rain

And It cries for some Rain Oh Rain! Oh Rain! Just pour on, My heart cries: Is this Love or a wave triggered by butterflies? Wished once for the most beautiful thing, for myself, But Shut the door whilst the Moon showed up itself. For then I knew, I’d seen You, ‘twas no more the Moon. Oh Rain! Oh Rain! Just pour on, My heart cries: It cries for the wetness to hug my lonely sighs. Coz this long winter hath taken its toll on me, This Thirst for rain has sculpted a poet out of me. As I walk alone by your nest, on this foggy afternoon. Oh Rain! Oh Rain! Just pour on, My heart cries: It happened before but such strong weren’t ties. Oh! Please accept my invitation and come find, This small house of dreams woven by my mind. And as I wait here for You, Please show up soon. Oh Rain! Oh Rain! Just pour on, My heart cries: To get a glint of Hers, do nourish my dewy eyes. So, tomorrow If I tell Her, how pretty is She, I’m afraid she’ll like someone who’s better than Me.

Allah Hi Raham (अल्लाह ही रहम) - My Name is Khan - Lyrics & Translation

अल्लाह ही रहम Song Name: Allah Hi Rahem Film/Album: My Name is Khan Singer(s): Rashid Khan Music Director: Shankar, Ehsaan & Loy Lyricist: Niranjan Iyengar REFLECTIONS Haah! Finally I hear something new and fresh from the Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio...after a long time. All their previous attempts have been strikingly similar....from London Dreams to Wake up sid!....all of them.....sound so much similar....I really believed that they should have taken a break but now they come up with this brand new Sufi number for My Name is Khan. Wow! Exactly a year after AR Rehman brought out Arziyan (Delhi 6). What a track? Although it cannot be matched with Rehman's Arziyan, yet this track is able to stand out on its own terms with exceptional lyrics from Niranjan Iyengar and soulful vocals by Rashid Khan....And trust me, this is nothing of the sort that you normally get to hear from The Shankar trio! Great song! Refreshing! and Inspiring! Lyrics (Translation) Allah hi rahem,
